Human Subject Protections

Any member of the research team interacting or intervening with human subjects or their data, including faculty, staff, and students are required to have completed appropriate training prior to beginning the project. Members of the study team whose responsibilities are limited to the entry of de-identified data are required at a minimum to complete Responsible Conduct of Research.

All individuals, as defined above, who are engaged in human subject research are required to have completed one of the human subjects research courses listed below based on their primary area of research. Re-certification is required every 4 years.
