Pitt Research Network (PRN)

What is the Pitt Research Network (PRN)?

The PRN (formerly known as the Clinical Research Coordinators' Network [CRCN]) is a diverse group of individuals whose work involves some aspect of clinical research.

The PRN meets bi-monthly. At each meeting, an invited speaker addresses a specific aspect of conducting clinical research. Refer to the ECO Calendar of Educational Events for meeting dates and topics.

Individuals who attend PRN meetings represent various research areas throughout the University and UPMC. While most individuals at PRN meetings are nurses who work as clinical research coordinators (CRCs), the group also includes administrators, data coordinators, nurse practitioners, PhD's, PharmD's, physicians, and social workers. All University of Pittsburgh and UPMC faculty and staff are welcom to attend PRN meetings.

For additional information about Pitt Research Network or to suggest meeting topics, contact a member of the Education and Compliance Office.
